A bicyclist was killed after going for a ride in Dutchess County, New York. The 49-year-old victim was struck by a car. The driver is a 54-year-old-man from Rhinebeck. The bicycle accident happened on Saturday afternoon in Clinton Corners.

Deputies say the car was making a left turn when it struck the bicyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
