Valco Baby, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has issued a voluntary recall of Baby Strollers due to a strangulation hazard.

The spacing between the grab bar and the seat bottom on the strollers allows an infant’s body, but not head, to slide through, which can possibly strangle or choke an infant.

To date, there have been on reports of injury associated with this recall.

Tri Mode Single and Twin strollers are involved in the recall. A list of affected stroller models can be viewed on the CPSC Web site. [View photos of the recalled products for reference.]

Consumers are urged to remove the grab bar from the stroller, it is an optional feature. Call Valco Baby at (800) 610-7850 or visit their Web site at www.Valcobaby.com for more information.
