Journey Girl Travel Trunk, sold exclusively at Toys R Us, have been voluntarily recalled because the metal handle on the trunk can be sharp, posing an injury hazard.
To date, the company has received six complaints which involved the handle on the trunk and in one case, the consumer received stitches. Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled trunk and to take them away from small children. Toys R Us can be contacted for a refund or store credit.
This recall involves trunks that are used with 18-inch toy dolls with UPC # 4897027965070 and model number 5F5F79E. The CPSC News Release includes photos of the recalled items for reference.
