Old Navy LLC, in conjunction with both the U.S. Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, announced a voluntary recall of more than 30,000 Stuffed Animal and Creature Toys in the U.S. and Canada.
The stuffed toys have two button eyes that can detach posing a choking hazard to small children.
Consumers are advised to take the recalled stuffed toys away from small children and return it to any Old Navy store for a full refund. If the toy was purchased online, contact Old Navy for mailing instructions.
To date, the company and CPSC have not received any reports of injuries related to the recall.
The stuffed animals are made of cotton and have plastic button eyes. They are available in several styles including a penguin, rabbit and reindeer.

** Consumers who return the recalled toys before July 1, 2009 will receive a $5 coupon toward a future purchase at Old Navy.
