Select Brands, Inc., working in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of Kitchen Selectives 6-Speed Blenders.
The plastic pitcher, while in operation, can separate from the blade assembly, exposing the rotating blades, which poses a laceration hazard to consumers. To this date there have been no reports of injuries or incidents involving the recalled blenders.
The recalled products are Kitchen Selectives 6-Speed Blenders with model BL – 15, which can be found on the bottom of the base. The CPSC News Release includes photos of the recalled blenders for easy reference.
