Carlisle FoodService Products issued a voluntary recall of cups and mugs, because they can break when exposed to hot liquids, posing a burn hazard.
To this date, the company has received three reports of the items breaking, but no injuries have occurred.

The items were sold online through distributor outlets, food service companies and more from January 2011 to January 2012.
Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled cups and mugs and to return them to Carlisle for a credit toward a future purchase. The company will provide instructions for free return shipping.
