Rocketfish has issued a recall of Mobile Battery Cases for iPhone 3G and 3GS in the U.S. and Canada because they can overheat while charging, posing a fire hazard.
Rocketfish Model RF-KL12 Mobile Battery Case is involved in this recall. The items were sold exclusively at Best Buy stores nationwide, as well as Future Shop and Best Buy stores in Canada and online.
The company has received 14 reports of the battery cases overheating in the United States, to date.

Mophie Battery Cases
Mophie LLC, has issued a voluntary recall of Rechargeable External Battery Cases because the circuit switch can overheat, posing a burn hazard.
To date, the company has received 110 reports of the products overheating, 44 reports of the product deforming and 9 reports of minor burns.
The recall involves Mophie Juice Pack Air rechargeable external battery. Only cases with serial numbers that contain “TR113 through TR120” are subject to this recall. They were sold at mophie.com, Barnes & Noble, Amazon and other stores since April 2011.
