A fall hazard has prompted Molenaar, working in cooperation with CPSC, to issue a voluntary recall of 13-inch folding step stools.
There have been no injuries or incidents reported in connection with this recall, to this date.
The recalled stools are plastic and have a handle for carrying when the stool is folded. They have a single step and come in beige with a brown top. The stools were used as promotional products from March to May 2012 and therefore carry several different company logos.
Consumers should return the stool to the business printed on the label to receive a different promotional product. Businesses that purchased the product from the company should return it for a credit or refund. For more information, please call Molenaar at (877) 719-4442.
