Target, in cooperation with the CPSC, is recalling LED flashlight sets because they can heat up, smoke or melt, posing a fire and burn hazard to users. The items were sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide.
To this date, the company has received four incident reports involving the flashlights, two which included minor burn injuries.
The recall involves 6-pc. LED Flashlight Sets with UPC Code 490021010049 which can be found on the packaging. The items were sold in sets of six and included 2 small, 2 medium and 2 large flashlights. For your reference, the CPSC has a photo of the recalled flashlights.
Consumers are urged to not use the recalled flashlights. They should be returned to any Target store for a refund. For more information, contact Target directly at (800) 440-0680. You can also visit them online at www.Target.com.
