Guidecraft Inc., in cooperation with the CPSC, announced a recall of play theater toys in the U.S. and Canada because they can tip over unexpectedly, posing an entrapment hazard to young children.
The company has received two reports of tip-over incidents, to this date. One incident involved a child suffering minor abrasions and cuts.
The recall involves all 4-in-1 dramatic play theaters with model number G51062. The items were sold on various Internet retailers nationwide as well as on Guidecraft.com and other catalogs. Photos of the recalled toys are included in the CPSC News Release for reference.
Consumers are urged to keep the item from young children and to contact the company for a refund or replacement product. For more information, call Guidecraft direct at (888) 824-1308 or visit their Web site at www.guidecraft.com.
