Gap Outlet, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a voluntary recall of its “Warmest Jacket” boys’ jackets.
The jackets have a waist drawstring which can become caught or snagged in small spaces such as doorways or on cabinet doors and posing an entrapment hazard to small children.
“Gap Outlet” is printed on a label at the neck. Style number 513573 is printed on a white label sewn behind the size and product care label near the neckline.
Consumers are advised to stop wearing the jackets and return them to any Gap Outlet Store to receive a full refund. Customers who return the jacket before April 30, 2008 will also receive a $5 customer appreciation card.
