Aqua-Leisure Industries, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has issued a voluntary recall of First Fitness Trampolines with handlebars because the handlebar can give way during use, posing an injury and fall hazard.

To this date, the company has been notified of four instances in which the handlebars broke during use. However, no injuries have been reported.

The recalled trampolines, sold exclusively at Toys “R” Us stores nationwide are First Fitness Kid’s trampolines and handlebars with model number FF-6902TR and Toys R Us SKN 491463. The CPSC News Release includes photos of the recalled items for easy reference.

Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled trampolines immediately to prevent injury and to contact Aqua-Leisure to receive a refund. For more information, consumers should call Aqua-Leisure direct at (888) 912-7087 or alternatively you can visit their Web site online for more information as well.

If you have experienced a problem with the recalled items, or any other product for that matter, share your experience SaferProducts.gov.
