Toysmith issued a voluntary recall of Animal Snap Bracelets in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), because the metal snap band can wear through the fabric, thereby exposing sharp edges and posing an injury hazard.
There have been eight injuries reported to the company involving this recall, to date.
The items recalled include animal snap bracelets in assorted metallic fabrics with animal figures – photos are including in the CPSC News Release. The manufacturing date of the recalled items are 07/11 and 01/12. They were sold at Cracker Barrel stores and various other retailers.
Consumers are urged to return the product to the store of purchased to receive a refund. For more information, call Toysmith directly at (800) 356-0474 or visit them online at www.toysmith.com.
