The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Wisconsin Pharmacal Company, LLC has issued a recall of Triad Povidone Iodine Prep Pads that are included in their Atware Carey First Aid Kits. The disinfecting iodine swabs, contained in certain kits, may lead to life-threatening infections.
The kits were manufactured by H&P Industries Inc. and marketed under various brand names including Triad. Please visit the FDA Web site to view a complete list of items affected by this recall including brand names and corresponding UPC codes.

Current shipments of Atwater Carey First Aid Kits do not include the Triad Povidone Iodine Prep Pads.
