Kidgets Animal Sock Slippers for children have been voluntarily recalled by Family Dollar Services, working in conjunction with CPSC, because the eye’s can detach from the slippers, posing a choking hazard to young children.

One report of the eyes detaching has been reported to the company to date. However, there have been no injuries reported.

The recalled slippers, sold exclusively at Family Dollar Stores nationwide, have brown carry the number: "FD9619108020690611" which can be located on the inside of the slipper. The CPSC News Release includes a photo of the recalled items for your reference.
