Envirofacts Database Updated By EPA

Comments Off

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) added more than 6,300 chemicals and 3,800 chemical facilities regulated under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to its public database called Envirofacts.

The database is a powerful tool used to collect information regarding environmental activities that may affect air, water and land in the U.S. It also provides tools to analyze the data. The facility name, address and an aerial image, along with links to other EPA information is also available.

EPA is interested in increasing the public’s access to chemical information and intends to take additional actions in the coming months to further increase the amount of information available to the public.

For more information, see Envirofacts.
