Arctic Cat Snowmobiles have been voluntarily recalled due to a fuel leak that poses a fire hazard to consumers.
The recall, announced in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), involves about 1,300 snowmobiles.
To this date the company has received two reports of fuel leakage; but no reported injuries.
All 2010 Arctic Cat 500 Sno Pro models that were sold nationwide from October 2008 through February 2010 are involved in the recall.
Consumers are advised to contact their local Arctic Cat snowmobile deal to schedule a free repair. In the meantime, to avoid injury, the snowmobiles should not be used.
