Recall – Musical Wooden Table Toys

Comments Off

Battat Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), issued a voluntary recall of musical wooden table toys due to small pegs that can detach, posing a choking hazard.

To this date, nine reports of the pegs loosening have been reported to the company. However, no injuries have been reported.

The recall involves Musical Wooden Table toys sold at music and toy stores nationwide and on the Internet from September 2006 to October 2010. To view photos of the recalled toys, please refer to the CPSC News Release.

The agency urges parents and caregivers to take the recalled toys away from small children and to contact the company for a free replacement. For more information, consumers can call Battat directly at (800) 247-6144 or visit them online at www.battatco.com.

Any incidents or injuries relating to this recall should be reported to the CPSC by visiting www.saferproducts.gov.
