Recall – Halloween Projection Flashlights

Comments Off

Projection flashlights with a Halloween theme have been recalled by Ngala Corp., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), because they have the potential to overheat, melt or blister, posing a burn and fire hazard.

To this date, the company has received one report of an incident that involved a flashlight that blistered, melted or overheated.

The recalled flashlights are 6 ½ inches long and have bats, cats, haunted houses, pumpkins and witches on them. They come with 6 different lenses that attach to the unit. “Flomo,” “HW189” and UPC 677916518266 are printed on the packaging. The CPSC News Release includes a photo of the recalled item for your reference.

Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled item. The batteries should be removed and discarded and the items returned to the store of purchase for a refund. For more information, call Nygala Corp. at (800) 445-5936 or visit them online at www.flomousa.com.
