Circus World Displays Limited (CWD) has issued a voluntary recall of baby monitors because the wiring in the camera can overheat and emit smoke, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

While no injuries have been reported, the company has received two reports of the units overheating and smoking.

The recall involves Levana wireless baby monitors with model number LV-TW300. [View Photos] The monitors were sold at BB Buggy and Health and Safety stores nationwide and on the Internet from February to May 2010.
