Comments Off

Due to a potential choking hazard, Little Tikes Chit ‘n Chat toy cell phones are being recalled.  The $8 product was sold in stores nationwide.  The recalled toy phone has a faulty hinge that could break off and become a choking hazard to young children.  The toy was distributed by Kids Station Toys International Ltd.

The agency and the Miami-based firm have received three reports of the toy breaking, including one report of a child beginning to choke on a small part, the CPSC said.

The toy cell phone was sold in stores from June 2006 to March 2008.  The recall involves around 1 million toys.  They were manufactured in China.  Consumers are advised to take the toy away from their children to avoid injury.  You may contact the company at 1-888-620-0930 for more information.
