G.A. Gertmenian and Sons has issued a voluntary recall of Toy Story 3 Bowling Games due to a violation of the federal paint standard. Lead can be toxic to children if ingested.

The recall involves Toy Story 3 Bowling Game Rugs with a batch marking of JA 148, which can be found on the bottom front of the packaging. They were sold at Walmart stores in the U.S. from September 1, 2010 through September 25, 2010.

Consumers are urged to take the recalled toys away from young children and to contact the manufacturer for a free replacement.

To date there have been no adverse reports in conjunction with this recall. For more information, call (888) 224-4181. You can also email the company at Gertmenian@Gertmenian.com for replacement instructions.

The recall was announced in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
