John Deere Recalls Gator Utility Vehicles

Comments Off

John Deere issued a recall of certain Gator Utility Vehicles because the fuel line can separate, posing a fire hazard risk. The recall has been initiated in cooperation with the FDA.

The recall involves John Deer Gator RSX850i Base, Sport and Trail model recreational utility vehicles manufactured between May 2012 and October 2012.

The following serial numbers are involved:

1M0850TB++M010013 thru 1M0850TB++M010768

1M0850TS++M010001 thru 1M0850TS++M011932

1M0850TT++M010001 thru 1M0850TT++M012765

To date, the company has received three consumer reports of the fuel lines separating. But, no injuries have been reported.

Consumers are urged to discontinue using the recalled vehicles and to contact a John Deere dealer for a free inspection and repair if needed.

For further information, Deere and Company should be contacted directly at (800) 537-8233,
