Comments Off

BabyHome USA, working in cooperation with the CPSC, announced a voluntary recall of baby high chairs due to a strangulation hazard posed by an opening in the front of the chair that can allow the child to become entrapped if not harnessed into the seat properly.

At this time there have been no reports of injuries associated with this recall. However, the agency is asking consumers to stop using the recalled high chairs and to contact the company for a free repair kit.

The recall involves Eat model high chairs in several colors with a model number of BH2104. The word “babyhome” is printed on one leg and “eat” is printed on the opposite leg. The affected lot numbers are: BH00301/01-2012, BH00303/07-2012, BH00304/09-2012 and BH00304/09-2012.

The recalled chairs were sold nationwide at sever stores as well as online including Amazon, Babiesrus.com and other merchants.

Additional information can be obtained by calling the company directly at (888) 758-5712, or online at www.babyhome.es and click on "Eat Recall" for more information.
