Folding Chairs Recalled By West Elm

A fall hazard has prompted, West Elm, a division of Williams-Sonoma Inc., to recall folding chairs in the United States and Canada in cooperation with the CPSC.

To date, the company has received fourteen reports of the chairs collapsing, braking or cracking. In two cases, the consumer suffered minor injuries after falling from the collapsed chair.

The recall involves West Elm solid wood and fully assembled folding chairs in chocolate, red or white. The CPSC news release provides photos of the recalled chairs for easy reference.
