Comments Off

Dollar Tree Stores, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a voluntary recall of more than 200,000 Tool Bench Utility Knives because the blade can slide past the support during use, posing a hazard to users.

To this date the company has received one report of injury associated with the recalled utility knife.

The recalled knife is black or grey and 6 inches long. The following information is found on the packaging: “975942,” date code “93” and “UPC 639277759429” are printed on the back of the packaging.

The knife should be returned to the store of purchase for a full refund. In the meantime, the knife should not be used.
