Chairs Recalled By Grandin Road Due To Fall Hazard

Comments Off

Metal chairs manufactured by K&K Exporters and retailed by Grandin Road, have been recalled because the back legs can bend when a seated person leans back, posing a fall and injury hazard to consumers.

To date, the company has received eight reports of the chairs’ legs bending, which includes three minor injuries.

The recall involves vintage-inspired chairs with number 456665. They were sold by Grandin Road Catalog and online at their website at www.grandinroad.com. Photos of the recalled chairs can be viewed on the CPSC website.

Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled chairs and to contact the company for refund instructions. Customers will be contacted directly.

For more information, please call Grandin Road at (888) 298-4651 or by visiting the product recall area on their site at www.grandinroad.com.
