LTD Commodities Recalls Sleeper Ottomans

LTD Commodities is recalling fold-out sleeper ottomans because the legs can break, thereby posing a fall hazard to consumers.

The company has received four reports of the ottoman legs breaking, to date. Two reports involved minor injuries.

Fold-out sleeper ottomans with a brown slipcover are involved in this recall. The manufacturer’s registration number is "VA18265(CN)" and can be found on one of three cushions.

The items were sold by ABC Distributing, LTD Commodities and Lakeside Collection, online and in catalogs from June to October 2011.

The agency is warns consumers to stop using the recalled products and to contact the company for refund instructions. Consumers will be contacted directly by LTD Commodities.
